Decibelle Recording is located in the Noe Valley district of San Francisco. It is owned and operated by producer/mixer JJ Wiesler (see jjwiesler.com for more info). The studio, originally called Mobius, was built in 1976 by engineer Oliver DiCicco. Oliver closed the studio to the public in 2002, though he continues to do some work for his own project Mobius music (see mobiusmusic.com for more info).

The studio has lots of instruments: drum kits, piano, hammond, wurli, celeste, bells, guitars, basses, and analog synths. These are left set-up and mic'ed to reduce wasted time and keep the space condusive to the creative process.

Rates and Policies:
Rate is $350/day. Assistant is $150 day. Engineer is not included in rate. Assistant is mandatory for first session with a new engineer or producer.
